We began with our hands in the concrete
Neptune Property did not arrive in Bali with a brochure and a subcontractor's phone number. We began as builders — an established contracting company, our own sites, our own trades on our own payroll — and only later started drawing the houses we would go on to build.
That sequence is the whole story. Most developers here draw a villa and hand it to someone else to build, and the gap between the drawing and the delivered house is where the disappointments live. We never opened that gap. The architect, the engineer and the site manager all answer to the same name — so when something has to be right, there is nobody to pass it to.
Fourteen years on, that order still shows — in the joinery, in the waterproofing, in the things you only notice once they are missing. More than a hundred people now work across architecture, engineering, project management and the trades, from Petitenget and Umalas out to Pererenan, Uluwatu, Cemagi and Seseh. We have put up hotels, restaurants and residences in Bali, Jakarta, Bekasi and Banten.
